What is a life settlement?
A life settlement is a transaction in which a life insurance policy is transferred between parties. Life insurance policies have value, and can be sold for money. The purchaser agrees to pay a certain fee to the policyholder in exchange for the benefits of the policy. The purchaser also takes on responsibility for paying any future premiums the policy may require. Then, when the insured passes away, the purchaser can collect the policy’s benefits.
What is a Viatical Settlement?
A viatical settlement settlement is the exact same thing as a life settlement but with one difference – the seller has less than 24 months to live.
However, whether the sale of your policy would qualify as a life settlement or viatical settlements, we will you find a purchaser.
How will a life or viatical settlement benefit your clients?
Your clients will be no longer have to pay insurance premiums, and will have access to cash that otherwise would have been locked away in an insurance policy.
Preferred Types of Policies
Hidden Gem Life Solutions will consider any type of life insurance policy. However, most buyers do prefer Universal Life, Whole Life, or Convertible Term Life policies.
